Hetvi Khimsuriya: A Beacon of Resilience and Talent

Hetvi Khimsuriya, a young girl from Vadodara, Gujarat, has defied all odds to become an inspiration for millions. Despite living with 75% physical and mental disabilities due to cerebral palsy and mental retardation, Hetvi Khimsuriya has mastered freehand painting, craft-making, and educational puzzle-solving. Her extraordinary achievements include setting world records, such as becoming the first girl with cerebral palsy to solve 135 educational puzzles.

Hetvi’s journey is a testament to the power of self-confidence and determination. Not only has she turned her disabilities into abilities, but she has also shown immense compassion by donating her monthly pension to the Children of the Mentally Disabled Organization.

On January 23, 2024, President Draupadi Murmu honored Hetvi in New Delhi with the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2024. This national recognition celebrates her incredible talent and unwavering spirit, making Gujarat and the nation proud.
